Mexican Sterling Turquoise Bracelet Early Pre Eagle
Here is a dramatic and bold sterling Mexican Hinged bracelet that is marked Sterling Made in Mexico, does not bear the eagle mark and therefore dates to the 30’s or early 40’s. It measures a generous 2” at the widest, narrows to 1” and has an inner diameter of 2 ¼”. It consists of a large center turquoise stone measuring ¾” by ½” and 4 smaller turquoise stones measuring ½” by 3/8” each. The stones are surrounded by 3 dimensional linear scrollwork, 10 silver balls and 5 unusual silver domes that stand 3/8” high, 2 on the top portion and 3 on the bottom half of the bracelet. There is a hidden box style clasp and a safety chain. Quite a bracelet and quite a statement of bold and dramatic design.
