| Here is a beautiful hand made French silver cloak buckle dating to 1809-1819. It is hallmarked with a rooster with a #1 indicating a standard or title Departments 950/1000. It also has a hallmarked helmeted man with a #95 indicating a guarantee and 3 initials C.V.D. The design is embossed and resembles cut steel. The hook has a lovely etched floral design. The buckle when locked together measures 5” long by 2 ¼” high. Each half is hallmarked as described above. | |||||||||||
