| Here is a charming and rare sterling guilloche enamel sash buckle that was made in England in 1908. The piece is hallmarked WEP & CO with a lion passant, anchor and the letter “n” indicating the country of origin and date it was made . It is decorated with delicately hand painted white daisies on white guilloche enamel and has 2 different textural designs in the enamel separated by a thin line of silver accentuating its unique quality. The buckle is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or visible scratches. It measures a generous 3 3/8” wide by 2 ½” high and weighs 40 grams. This piece is a stunning example of early 20th century European design and craftsmanship. | |||||||||
