| Here is a rare and superbly hand carved yellow or cream corn bakelite hinged bracelet dating to the 1940’s. It is oval shaped, measuring 2 ¼ by 1 ¾ on the inside diameter. It is 1 ¼” wide at its widest and is ½” thick. It has 2 intricately carved flowers surrounded by 4 three dimensionally carved leaves. The back section of the bracelet is not carved and tapers to ¾” wide at its narrowest. The metal hinge is all original and operates smoothly and tightly. This vintage bracelet is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There are some light scuff marks on the underside which is consistent with age and use and mentioned to be accurate. This rare hand carved beauty is guaranteed to be original American vintage bakelite. | ||||||||||||||
