This dramatic burgundy velvet and silver frame handbag is outstanding in style and condition. It measures 9” wide by 7 ½” high to the top of the catch and the double handle chain is 12” long. It is multiple hallmarked WT, XXXR and has an ax that is a tax mark for old silver items dating from 1853-1927. I believe the frame is silver plate. It is in pristine condition and perfectly clean with no rips, stains, or fading. It has an interior pocket with the original hand mirror. This purse is in particularly great condition for its age.
