Here is a magnificent Hobe bracelet with filigree gilt work and multi-color pastel crystals. It is signed Hobe and was probably manufactured around 1910 according to the book “The Great Pretenders” by Kelley and Schifffer, pages 90 and 91. The shimmering pastel colored multi faceted crystals are rose pink, lavender and clear and are surrounded by decorative filigree designs of gilt wire. Here is a magnificent bakelite bracelet that was hand carved in the 1940’s. It measures 2 ½” inside diameter, is 7/8” wide and ¼” thick. The design is deeply hand carved with sharp edges and flowing curves. It is a dark and rich cream corn color, almost butterscotch without the translucency. It is in excellent vintage condition with some light surface scratches consistent with age and use. It is guaranteed original vintage bakelite.

Here is a beautiful Victorian Scottish agate pin. The pin is an oval shape, measuring 2” high and 1 ½” wide and has a Scottish agate and brass anchor suspended above the center of the pin. The agate stone appears to be in good vintage condition with no cracks. There are a couple of tiny fleabites to the edge of the agate that I observed with a loupe but are not visible with the naked eye.

Here is a handcrafted Modernist brass and copper necklace with a prong set glass stone. It measures 2 ¼” in diameter and the link chain measures 19”. It does not have an artist signature but the workmanship and design are characteristic of the many dynamic artisans of the 1950’s and 60’s. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There is some light surface scratching to the metal visible under magnification and consistent with age and use.

Here is a beautiful carved yellow bakelite bracelet dating to the 1940’s. It measures ½” wide by slightly less than ½” thick with a 2 ½” inside diameter. The carving is simple and elegant with black carved accents. It has 4 slightly squared outer edges where the carvings are located. This vintage bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and only some very mild surface scratches consistent with age and use. It is guaranteed to be vintage American bakelite.
