This stunning rose and yellow goldtone clip was designed for Trifari by Alfred Philippe on May 14th 1940. It bears the crown Trifari mark on the back and top of the 2 prong fur clip as well as Pat Pend. It measures 2” long by 1 ½” wide. The flower petals as well as the back of the clip are rose gold color. The flower bud, leaves and stems are yellow gold in color. All rhinestones are present and original. Here is a smashing and shimmering Hobe brooch dating to the 1940’s. As with most Hobe pieces of this style, the unfoiled, multi faceted red, pink and clear open backed and bezel set crystals reflect the light and dazzle the eye.
