Sales Policy
All items offered for sale by “What Was is Vintage” are being sold as is. Returns will be accepted only if an item is totally misrepresented or absolutely not as described. See our Refund Policy for further details. We try to honestly describe details on all of our items as thoroughly as possible. We examine our pieces carefully and we note all details of condition such as chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, fading or staining. We have comprehensive experience in grading items for sale and we try to point out all details as carefully as possible so that you can make a confident purchase. We offer pictures and descriptions of any trademarks where possible. Please email or phone us with any questions you might have about an item or to request additional pictures before deciding to make a purchase. When a purchase is agreed to full payment is due within 3 days of email confirmation. We accept payment by Paypal, money order, personal or certified check. We only accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express through Paypal. Personal and certified checks will delay shipping 12-15 business days until the funds clear. For each item purchased we will send a complete invoice detailing the final purchase price plus shipping and insurance. If final payment is by Paypal final information will be exchanged at the time of the sale. Shipping for all items within the US is by US Priority Mail plus insurance which is required on all shipments, no exceptions. Payment by international customers outside the United States is in US dollars through Paypal only. International shipping outside the US is by US Priority Mail International plus insurance that is required on all shipments, no exceptions. Upon verbal or written confirmation to purchase an item from the website “What Was Is Vintage” will hold the item in question and list it as "Pending Sale" in our inventory. Items will be taken off “Pending Sale” after 7 days or when payment has been received at which time it will be listed as "SOLD". We are always willing to work things out with our customers, as your satisfaction is our highest priority. If an item purchased is materially different or is absolutely not as described in the item listing the original buyer shall have the right within three business days of receiving the item to rescind the transaction by so notifying the seller by email or phone. If a refund is agreed by both parties the buyer will be responsible for returning the item to the seller in the same condition as when received by the buyer, at the buyer's risk, cost and expense. Upon receipt of the returned item you will be refunded in full for the item through your original payment method minus all shipping costs which will not be refunded. If an item was damaged during shipping, buyer needs to keep all packing & original boxes, take pictures if possible and email us immediately to begin the damage claim process. Once that process is complete and the claim is settled you will be refunded the appropriate amount through your original payment method. “What Was Is Vintage” will never share any information, email address or any details about any sale with any outside person or party concerning any business transactions between “What Was Is Vintage” and our customers. |
